A unique and engaging experience. We chose (thanks to Nik's really super advice) a private tour. This allowed us to get in touch with local realities (noodle producers, dragon fruit grower, cocoa farmer) and talk to them thanks to the very prepared and sweet Huong. We visited the floating market, enjoyed delicious fruit and visited the home of a family living on boats. We concluded with a typical lunch, understanding how the dish was consumed, seen many times in our holiday but never tasted, again thanks to Huog. We really recommend this experience.
Together with Nick from Local Mint Travel, we planned a complete trip through Vietnam from Germany. Nick has responded superbly to our wishes and was always on hand with advice and deed. We booked tours and transfers through the agency. The tours were always nice for the most part and the transfers were also great. The punctuality of the drivers is particularly noteworthy. Even when we didn't like a tour, Nick acted immediately and offered us another tour. Even when we left something in the car, it was taken care of immediately. The agency was always available via a WhatsApp group and always informed us about everything. That was really great! I am traveling alone and wanted to take a tour on the Mekong river, but all the agencies were offering me extremely expensive private tours. Mint suggested that I join a couple to form a group, and the price was quite reasonable. We spent the morning on the Mekong river having a typical breakfast at sunrise on a small boat. We visited orchards, tasted fruits and chocolate produced in the region. The guide Nhi speaks French very well, is lovely, and taught us a lot about Vietnamese culture. It was a very pleasant experience.
