DAY 1: CAN THO – LUNG NGOC HOANG NATURE RESERVE (Overnight in Can Tho)
13:45 – Pick up in Can Tho City Center (If departing from Ho Chi Minh City, Start at 09:00)
Begin your journey to one of the Mekong Delta’s most untouched natural areas.
After around 45 minutes, arrive at Lung Ngoc Hoang Nature Reserve — a vast 2,800-hectare protected wetland, still largely undiscovered by mass tourism.
Here, you’ll explore the reserve by small boat, gliding gently through narrow canals covered with water hyacinths and surrounded by flooded forest. The landscape of reeds, palms, and mangroves creates a truly immersive and tranquil atmosphere. As you go deeper into the reserve, natural sounds take over — birds calling, leaves rustling, and water flowing — offering a rare glimpse into the wild side of the Mekong Delta.

Transfer to the boat station and board a traditional wooden sampan
Sunrise on the Mekong River
Around 6:00 AM, the river is calm and the sky slowly lights up. This is one of the most peaceful and beautiful moments of the day.
Cai Rang Floating Market
As the river becomes lively, you arrive at the famous floating market where boats trade fruits and vegetables directly on the water.
Enjoy a hot bowl of noodle soup on board (vegetarian option available) — a truly local breakfast experience.
Life on the River
Transfer to a smaller sampan to go deeper into the canals.
Fresh pineapple is cut and served right on the boat while your guide shares stories about life on the river.
Traditional Rice Noodle Workshop
Visit a local family-run workshop where colorful rice noodles are handmade. This is an authentic working place — not a tourist shop — where you’ll see the full traditional process.
