Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho
08:00 – Pick-up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City by private car. Leaving the bustling Saigon behind, you drive approximately 2 hours through rice fields and countryside villages to reach My Tho, the gateway to the Mekong Delta.
Boat cruise on the Tien River: motorboat excursion to Unicorn Island. Visit a local village, enjoy tropical fruit tasting, and experience traditional Southern Vietnamese music recognized by UNESCO.
Bee farm visit: taste honey tea, learn about local beekeeping, and have the opportunity to take photos with pythons.
Lunch in an orchard: a typical Mekong Delta meal served in a shaded garden setting.
Ben Tre province – the land of coconuts: visit a traditional handmade coconut candy workshop.
Sampan ride through small canals: peaceful rowing through water palm-lined canals.
In the late afternoon, transfer to Can Tho, the capital of the Mekong Delta. Arrival around 17:00, check-in at the hotel, and overnight stay.
Day 2: Can Tho – Son Islet – Lung Ngoc Hoang Nature Reserve
After breakfast, depart at 08:00 for a full day of cultural and nature exploration.
Morning – Son Islet:
• Visit floating fish rafts and learn about local aquaculture.
• Join a traditional Vietnamese cake-making experience with a local family.
• Walk through fruit orchards and taste seasonal fruits.
• Watch the impressive jumping catfish show.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon – Lung Ngoc Hoang Nature Reserve:

Return to Can Tho in the late afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Cocoa Farm – Ho Chi Minh City
05:30 – Early morning departure for a sunrise cruise on the Mekong.
Cai Rang Floating Market: discover the busiest floating market in the Mekong Delta with hundreds of boats trading fruits and vegetables. Enjoy a typical breakfast on board (noodle soup or coffee).
Rice noodle workshop: traditional handmade noodle production experience.
Sampan ride through small canals: explore rural life and lush orchard landscapes.
Cocoa farm: visit a local family plantation, learn about cocoa production, and taste handmade chocolate.
Around 11:00 – Return to Can Tho and lunch at 12:00.
13:30 – Departure from Can Tho by Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh City limousine bus (arrival in Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon).
