Day 1. Hanoi – Ha Giang by night bus
You will be picked up from your accommodation and Hanoi Old Quarter and taken to Ha Giang by sleeper bus.
Day 2. Ha Giang – Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate – Yen Minh – Dong Van (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
The bus arrives early but you will be picked up and given a bed to continue sleeping.
After breakfast this unforgettable adventure begins. You will hop on the back of an experienced guide and enjoy the next few days to the fullest. Driving yourself is possible, but of course at your own risk.
You drive past the spectacular Quan Ba Heaven’s gate, the twin mountains to Yen Minh for lunch. Along the way you will make plenty of stops to take the necessary photos.
After lunch the spectacle continues towards Dong Van. Along the way you will stop at the special palace of the Hmong king.
You will arrive at the cozy guesthouse around 5 p.m. This village is very quiet and nice to walk around.
Day 3. Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Du Gia (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
After breakfast you will hop back on your bike and tour the Dong Van Geopark, one of the most beautiful areas in Vietnam.
The Ma Pi Leng Pass in particular is beautiful.
You continue the road towards Du Gia and see several interesting villages and mountains with rice terraces.
You will spend the night again in a cozy guesthouse.
Day 4. Du Gia – Du Gia Waterfall – Lung Tham Village – Ha Giang – Hanoi (breakfast, lunch)
Today you drive through a fantastic landscape of rice terraces and villages. You will stop at the beautiful Du Gia waterfall and Lung Tham Village. In this village the people make traditional clothing for the ethnic minorities that live here.
You will end in Ha Giang where you can take a shower. At 4:00 PM you will return to Hanoi by bus. Upon arrival, take a taxi yourself or walk to your hotel (short distance)
