OVERVIEW
“You can see the Delta or you can experience the 3 days 2 nighs tour in Mekong Delta” If you want to get a glimpse into the real life of a Vietnamese in the Mekong Delta, this three-day tour is a must do. From the countryside around the city of Can Tho you can visit the famous Cai Rang floating market, enjoy a typical Vietnamese family dinner and relax in the garden of the beautifully situated homestay.
DAY 1: HCM – CAN THO – CYCLING – COOKING CLASS
- 07:00 AM, Have breakfast at your hotel in HCM
- 08:00 AM, From your hotel in HCM

- Please be at the address above at 8:30 Am, the buy the ticket to Can Tho at 9:00 Am, the price bus ticket is 165.000 vnđ/ticket
- Then there is a a shuttle bus bring you to the main bus station ( Ben xe mien tay )
- From here ( Ben xe mien tay ) you get on the big bus go to Can Tho.

12:00 AM, Arriving at the bus station in Can Tho city, the driver or guide will pick you up from the bus station and transfer to boat station at Ninh Kieu Quay..
12:30 PM, Check in your homestay and have a nice local Vietnamese lunch.
13:30 PM, Take a break.
14:00 PM, You will take the bikes to explore the area so you can see the real local life with different types of farming, various plant and fruit garden and of course plenty of rice fields….
We then visit a Khmer temple of over 350 years old where you will learn more about Buddhism religion and Khmer culture and life

05:30 PM, You can see sunset at the homestay if it is not cloudy
At 06:00 PM, we start join in preparing dinner. After dinner, you can enjoy a quiet and relaxing envening right in the heart of the Mekong for a perfect local feel.
DAY 2: TRA SU FOREST TOUR FROM CAN THO

- Sampan ride in the Tra Su melaleuca forest.
- Vietnamese lunch at Tra Su forest.

Tra Su Cajuput Forest (planted since the 1980s) of 845 hectares is an ideal destination for nature lovers. Explore nature and wildlife by boat and rowing sampan, taste huge emerald green duckweed as well as flocks of birds (in season), conquer the longest walking bamboo bridge in the forest in Vietnam.
- At 8:00 am , our driver and guide will meet you and pick you up from the hotel.
- 10:00 am , arrive at Hang Pagoda , Hang Pagoda Vietnam is renowned not only for its stunning scenery, but also for its rich collection of captivating stories and legends. Built by Mrs. Le Thi Tho (Dieu Thien) around 1840-1850, it was originally a small temple made of bamboo and leaves. Thanks to contributions from locals, it has undergone many renovations over time. Legend has it that there were once two ferocious snakes near the temple, named Thanh Xa and Bach Xa. Strangely, these snakes would become calm whenever Dieu Thien meditated there. They disappeared when he passed away but are still worshipped here as protective deities.
- 12:00 , arrive at Tra Su forest ( planted in the 80s ) . Then the guide helps you with the boat ticket and board. After sitting on a motorboat for about 20 minutes to see the natural sites, you will board the rowing sampan (about half an hour) to watch birds ( in season ) and enjoy the most beautiful flooded forest in Vietnam as well as the SEA. Then, return to the motorboat and enter the forest. Walk 500 meters to reach the 25-meter observation deck and enjoy the fascinating view of the mountain of the area, the expanses of cajeput forest and the white dots of flying storks. Take an incredible bamboo pedestrian bridge, the longest in the forest in Vietnam, which will give you plenty of time to feel the beauty of nature.
- Approximately 3 hours in the forest including a local lunch at a forest restaurant.
- Along the way, your guide will share lots of information about nature and wildlife, sugar palm, rice fields and fish farming… and also learn about the importance of Khmer Buddhism in the local community on the border of Vietnam and Cambodia.
- 5:00 pm. Return to Can Tho city.
DAY 3: CAN THO – FLOATING MARKET – CACAO FARM – HCM
05:30 AM, Our guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to the boat.
Discover the Cai Rang floating market, a colourful, buzzing market with hundreds of boat vendors selling fruits, vegetables & hot food from sunrise to late morning. Cruise down the Mekong River to witness the local village lifestyle and walking in the countryside for fresh air.
Visit the rice noodle family factory – This traditional noodle oven has been around for a long time. Coming here, you will visit the stages of making noodle soup from cooking rice paper from flour, drying, cutting into noodles and other stages
Visit the dragon fruit garden
Water coconut cannal and walk in the peaceful villages, tropical orchards, countryside roads. Stop and pass by “monkey bridges.
Visit the organic cacao farm where the guide will tell you interesting stories about cacao and Mr. Cacao and how to make chocolates, wines, cosmetics…Have a glass of cacao milk and can taste cacao wine.
12:00 PM, Have lunch
13:00, End your tour, Bus back to HCM
