Day 1. From Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho (including lunch and dinner)
Departure in the morning by bus or private car towards Can Tho, the largest city in the Delta surrounded by a beautiful rural landscape.
After arrival you will be picked up by your local guide and it is time for a first introduction to the local cuisine. Lunch time!
After lunch it is time to rest in a hammock and then get on your bike. You cycle on narrow paths past rice fields, farms and fruit plantations.
You will also make a stop at an interesting Khmer temple. In this region you can still see many influences of this special culture.
Last stop is of course the local market because you need to do some shopping for dinner. And that’s how it goes in the Delta, always fresh from the market.
With all the ingredients for dinner in your pocket, you sail for another 20 minutes through the narrow waterways to the homestay. A beautifully situated house on a canal with a beautiful view over the countryside. And don’t worry, the room is fully equipped, such as a mosquito net, fan and air conditioning.
Just a little patience for dinner and this is the perfect time to explore the area by bike. And if you want to do nothing at all, lie down in the hammock while enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside. Enjoy that real Mekong Delta feeling with the family for the rest of the evening.

Day 2: Cai Rang Floating Market (including breakfast and lunch)
Ok, so you really want to experience the Delta like a local. Then you will also be woken up early. You leave at 5:00 am on the boat to the famous floating market of Cai Rang. Enjoy the sunrise and see the market come to life during breakfast on the boat.
This is why you have to get up early. Because of the heat, the market stops quite early and if you arrive late, as many tours do, most of the boats have already left.
Fortunately, you have now been able to admire the market in full regalia. Time to sail some more through the connecting canals and mangroves and visit a fruit plantation. There is a good chance that this is the first time you will taste these fruits.
After lunch you will take the bus back to Ho Chi Minh City.
