Excellent tour that I’ve ever joined in. I and my friends had a morning very well taken by a boat, and very cute guide. She told us all of things about floating market and its history, so interesting. We tasted a lot of food as fruits, candy and traditional cakes, a little bit sweet and drank cocoa as well.
many things leave a good impression on us: culture, floating life. So amazing when people could live and do everything on the boat. The weather is a little bit hot for us when staying on boat. Coming factory or house is cooler. By the way thanks Ms Mint offering us a perfect tour….
Many varied experiences in a half day with Peter, our knowledgeable and considerate guide

My husband and I are in our 70’s but experienced independent travelers with an aversion to organized tours and tourist traps. To see the floating market at Can Tho, though, we booked a private half day tour that included visiting some local farms as well. We lucked out with our guide, Peter, who spoke English well. He was knowledgeable, easy to be with, considerate in terms of helping us in and out of the boat multiple times and low key. He was proud to show and share his country with us and to answer our questions about life in Vietnam. All on all, a surprisingly pleasant and informative day for us non-tour people. Thank you, Peter.
We learnt about the floating markets and stopped at differents stands : pineapple (where we saw how merchants live), coffee and rice noodles for breakfast (delicious!). It was so nice we had the opportunity to make rice noodles by ourselves ! And the chocolate at the cacao farm was very good.
The tour was perfect thanks to our guide, Nhung ! She was funny and very interesting : she taught us words in Vietnamese and the country’s history. She also gave us recommandations for eating in the city. We had a great time with her and I wish her the best.
